Ride The Pickled Pedaler to Concerts at The Lawn

One of the best parts of summer is outdoor concerts! Indianapolis has one of the best outdoor concert venues, The Farm Bureau Insurance Lawn at White River State Park. Located in downtown Indianapolis on the east bank of the White River, The Farm Bureau Insurance Lawn attracts some of the best musicians from around the globe.

Now you can arrive at summer concerts at The Lawn in style! Book a tour on The Pickled Pedaler before a concert and our drivers will happily drop you off at White River State Park in time for the show. Get pumped by listening to your favorite band’s music on our state-of-the-art Bazooka speakers. Our bikes have an electric assist motor and water misters, so you’ll arrive to the show relaxed and cool.

We’re honored to be a part of the Virginia Avenue Folk Fest. If there’s one thing we love it’s good music and local beer. Wait, that’s 2 things, isn’t it?! But…you can’t really have one without the other. Wouldn’t you say? Well good news, the folk fest is going to have both and even more.

Where: All up and down Virginia Avenue

Cost: FREE!!!

There’s going to be over 70 musical acts on 9 different stages throughout the day. You’ll have no trouble finding something to tap your toes to here! In addition to all the great music and beer you’ll find food & fun from all of the other amazing sponsors. Seating isn’t necessarily provided so be sure to bring a camp chair or something cushy. This is the real deal, so it’s happening rain or shine!

Indy’s most amazing holiday tradition features 4,784 lights and dozens of strands of garland which are used to create the 242-foot display. Gather around Monument Circle to ring in the holidays!

Indianapolis German Fest: Games, Beer, and Weiner Dogs!

Games, beer, and weiner dogs…what more could you ask for in a festival?!

The Indianapolis German Fest is October 11, and we couldn’t be happier to be a part of it.

Here’s a little info about the festival:

The German Fest is a one-day festival that celebrates all things German. It starts at noon on October 11 and costs $8 in advance or $10 at the door for adults. It’s located at the Athenaeum on 401 E. Michigan Street Indianapolis, IN 46204.

Some of the planned activities include: German music, German dancing, German food, German beer, a yodeling contest, wiener dog races, 5K OktoberFAST Run/Walk, large kids area, competitive Beer Games, and a Bavarian Stone Lifting Contest.

Here’s what we’ll be up to at German Fest:

Starting at 2pm, and running through 8pm, we’ll be offering 30-minute tours on the Pickled Pedaler.

The cost is $10 per seat, and you can book your tour starting at noon. Just stop by our tent to book your tour.

We’ll also have all sorts of fun Pickled Pedaler swag at our tent, so be sure to stop by and look around. If you’re not able to take a tour during German Fest, but you’d like to book one for later, that’s fine too! Nicole will be happy to get you scheduled.

Vintage Indiana Wine & Food Festival, June 7

A festival of wine, food, and fun…need we say more? Head to Military Park on June 7th for this award-winning festival and try more than 200 award-winning wines. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy live performances. For more info, visit the event’s website here.

Dr. Dog at the Vogue, June 8

Cathedral Women’s Strawberry Festival, June 12

Attention strawberry shortcake lovers! Head to Monument Circle on June 12th. The festival begins at 9 A.M. but entertainment will start at 10 A.M. The festival will end at 6 P.M. or when supplies run out, so don’t delay!

Friday the 13th at the IMA, June 13

INDIEana Handicraft Exchange, June 14

Talbot Street Art Fair, June 14-15

Brew-Ha-Ha, June 21

The 19th Annual Brew-Ha-Ha benefiting the Phoenix Theatre will be held this year on June 21st. Indy’s original craft beer festival will be held on the 700 block of N. Indian Market & Festival, June 21-22
