Games, beer, and weiner dogs…what more could you ask for in a festival?!
The Indianapolis German Fest is October 11, and we couldn’t be happier to be a part of it.
Here’s a little info about the festival:
The German Fest is a one-day festival that celebrates all things German. It starts at noon on October 11 and costs $8 in advance or $10 at the door for adults. It’s located at the Athenaeum on 401 E. Michigan Street Indianapolis, IN 46204.
Some of the planned activities include: German music, German dancing, German food, German beer, a yodeling contest, wiener dog races, 5K OktoberFAST Run/Walk, large kids area, competitive Beer Games, and a Bavarian Stone Lifting Contest.
For more information about the event, visit the Athenaeum website.
Here’s what we’ll be up to at German Fest:
Starting at 2pm, and running through 8pm, we’ll be offering 30-minute tours on the Pickled Pedaler.
The cost is $10 per seat, and you can book your tour starting at noon. Just stop by our tent to book your tour.
We’ll also have all sorts of fun Pickled Pedaler swag at our tent, so be sure to stop by and look around. If you’re not able to take a tour during German Fest, but you’d like to book one for later, that’s fine too! Nicole will be happy to get you scheduled.
See you there!
